The content on this website is general information about counselling and the services offered. It isn't counselling, diagnosis or medical advice, and reading it doesn't create a counselling relationship.
This website and the contact form are not for emergencies. If you or someone else is in immediate danger or crisis, please contact emergency services or a 24-hour crisis line rather than waiting for a reply.
Scope of practice
As an ASCHP-registered Specialist Wellness Counsellor, I provide professional, non-diagnostic counselling. I don't diagnose mental health disorders or prescribe medication. If your needs fall outside my scope of practice, I'll refer you to an appropriate HPCSA-registered professional. Read more about what to expect.
Fees and bookings
- First conversation: Free (20 minutes)
- Individual session: R400 (per 1 hour session)
- Couples session: R600 (per 1 hour session)
- Six-session offer: book and pay for six individual or couples sessions up front at the price of five.
Prices are in South African rand. Sending a message through the contact form is an enquiry, not a booking. Sessions are confirmed once we've agreed to work together, and are provided under a written client agreement that you'll receive before your first session. That agreement sets out fees, invoicing and payment, cancellations, refunds, and confidentiality and its limits. If anything in it differs from this website, the client agreement applies.
Prices may change from time to time. The price confirmed when you book is the price you pay.
Intellectual property
The text, logo, design and images on this website belong to Emma Rossouw Counselling or are used with permission. You're welcome to share links to the site, but please don't copy or reuse its content without written permission.
Using the website
Please don't misuse the site, for example by trying to gain unauthorised access, interfering with how it works, or using the contact form to send spam or unlawful content.
